Oh I'm good! Here are some new pics!!

Rachel is coming--so I made some cookies, got the load of foaling towels, etc washed, I took lots of pics, and worked with the vet. Vet said all is wonderful!! Gypsy's bag is fine--the foal doesn't nurse long--so doesn't drain it, then it makes more. Vet said to go by foal's behavior, and you'll see from the pics, she's AOK. :D :D

I'll introduce her at the horse foerum and find out what color they think she is. I'm leaning towards silver bay--which mean her light legs would get a bit darker.. I know silver bays come in a wide range of shades...so even though she's so different from Rosie, they may be the same. I'll let you know what they say.

Here you go!!
Moving girl!

Thanks Karla!
She's adorable!
Just look at that mischievious grin she has!
Looks like you have a handful with her and she's going to take after Rosie. lol
Give Mazie LOTS and LOTS of hugs and kisses from me, but don't forget to give MY Rosie some love too! :)

What an active little one!!! She just melts my heart :D :D :D Happy to hear that your vet has no concerns with mama or baby :D Rachel will not want to leave tonight, after she sees the little one :D Is Mazie darker colored under the blanket, like Rosie? How tall is Mazie?

Here's Rosie... she is more red... Mazie is very silver.
I'll measure her when I'm out there with Rachel--who should be here in 15 minutes!!!! :D

It is really interesting to me about the difference between a miniature horse and a pony.
I couldn't tell you what those differences are, but having worked with horses, ponies, and miniature horses from time to time, a miniature horse in EVERY way is a horse ...
if you were to stand a pony next to a miniature horse you can see the difference, and then the similarities to a regular horse and the mini.
Your pictures of Rosie are so right on - - horse!
it is just very interesting.
