had to let my lovely old boy go

I am so sorry for your loss!!! They just don't stay with us long enough. I'm facing this with my dog and one of my cats in the near future...and I'm already thinking about how much this is going to hurt. They are so loving and faithful....the only comfort we get is that we did the best we could for them as long as we could.

so sorry for losing your baby. I like your avatar, I have 2 wft, ages 4 and 3...the female is ill all the time, not sure how much longer we will have her. I sure dread the thoughts of it, but I hate seeing her suffer allt he time too, one thing after the other. I will be saying a prayer for you today.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My old boy cat is 15 and has started to lose weight. He's about half what he used to weigh, tho he seems otherwise healthy. Just very frail and unbalanced. So sad to see our furry friends grow old. I dread the day we lose him.

Oh my 20 years. The longest we have had one is 17 years, after he went to kitty heaven I swore I wouldn't go through that again. Famous last words. A beautiful tuxedo stray came into our life and adopted us. She is a real lover and I think Fred sent her to us. Ok but it is fun to think he did. Hugs to you as I know how much you miss Charlie.

Sorry to hear about your lost, I also had to let go of a 20 year old cat and I still miss him a lot, but he's send us this new friend that my husband found under our balcony 4 months after he was gone. we didn't want any more cats as we travel a lot but we are sure he decided that we needed her company and hugs during our down moments. she's a sweetie and after 4 years she's still very shy with strangers but she's very attached to us.
