Oh my God! Just looking at what happened to that lovely old building has brought tears to my eyes. Such a sad sight.

About ten years ago our Victorian house burned. It was crazy, but I was more upset about the loss of the historic building than the fact that it was my home!

Please accept my sincere condolances on the loss of your special building.

For nearly 50 years I've driven through Hamilton going to my folks in S. Tex from S. OK and always wished there was a reason my husband and I could move there and own one of those beautiful old homes. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's always sad when something historical goes up in smoke.

Sorry to hear of your loss. It's always hard when one loses a piece of history.

What a beautiful building, and how hard to lose it to fire! Of course you're sick about it - I am, too, and I don't even own it.

For those of us not in Texas, do they know how the fire started?

When was it built? What was its story?

What were your plans for it?

I simply must ask. When everything's settled, will you rebuild it?
