HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Your husband picks out great gifts.
I have 1 of these machines - can't remember how old it is now. Have to admit I've not done much with it except admire it. It was sort of a gift from my dh. He went hunting for a few days and when he came home, he handed me a wad of money he'd won playing cards. I put it aside for later and next time we were at the flea market, I happened to find this machine and bought it with the winnings.

Happy Anniversary to you and your husband. There is a yahoo site on vintage Singer machines that you should join. There is alot of information on how to clean and make it shine also lots of helpful hints on how to fix problems. Have fun with your new machine.

Our 35th Anniversary is tomorrow and I wish my DH would buy me a vintage machine. We have a big tractor parade protest in our community tomorrow so I guess it is potluck supper for us after the finish. I did overhear my DD talking about a special cake!

Happy Anniversary to you. I have one just like yours, and it was a $10 anniversary present to me. I told my husband that I wanted to just bum around in this large antique shop and there it was sitting quietly on the floor in a corner. You will love it.
