Happy Mother's Day Everyone!

I had a great day. Did some cleaning and fixed some tuna salad. DD came over with dessert and we had a beautiful lunch together. We were going to do some sewing but we ended up playing on the computer planning our trip to Paducah next spring. In addition to dessert, DD brought me three big beautiful plants of Drift Roses with instructions from her landscaper husband on when and how to plant and tend them. It was a very nice day today.

Happy Mother's Day to all! I received 2dozen long stemmed roses in a crystal vase from my daughter and some beautiful bid begonias for my garden from my son. My husband is taking me out to supper tonight. I did nothing today, absolutely nothing...it was great.

I had just the type of Mother's Day I wanted, (I hated all those years we had to go to an overcrowded brunch with miserable food).

I quilted, rode my bike, spent time outside and the family is taking me out for a pizza dinner, (my choice).

Hope every Mom enjoys her day and much as I have.

Happy Mothers Day to all !!! We celebrated yesterday and I got 2 see two quilts I made about 35-38 Yrs. ago, hand quilted. They are totally shot, Son - almost 50 has them and they are very much used- he thinks he just needs to wash them. There are no squares in some places, really looks as tho someone cut them out. The sheet I used for the back is still in good shape and the polyester batting, both a bit thin but, no holes. He has no kids, to have cut them.
I had totally forgot that I made them.

Just also wanted to add my Happy Mother's Day wish to all mom's out there, of the 2 legged and 4 legged kids! I had a wonderful day with my daughter and my 4 stepchildren; my son and my other 4 stepchildren are grown, and live out of state (except 1) but did get Happy Mom's day texts from them.
