Kris P (board member) told me about this recipe last year & it's really good. You dissolve the red hots in the butter, sugar & corn syrup...add the baking soda & the pour over the popcorn. It's really good. I'll keep checking some local stores & drug stores. Thanks everyone!

My grocery store always has them in a small container in the baking aisle. Around Valentines Day they carry larger bags of them.
I found them at Dollar Tree once. They tasted awful, and I threw them away. Apparently, not all redhots are created equal.

We can a lot of applesauce and we love putting red hots in the sauce. Best source is AMAZON. Lots of different configurations of sizes.
We never measure how much we put in each jar of applesauce so each one is a little different. We love eating applesauce all winter long. It's a surprise in every jar.
