My fiance had one last year....He had pain for a couple of days in his kidney area but was good as new after that and felt much better than he did with the kidney stones. Good luck :)

Dh has had two. He had some problems with nausea after the first one, so the 2nd time he ate lightly for the first 12 hours or so. Other than that, he had no complaints.

OMG! I just had this surgery last Thursday! I was concerned as was my doctor as my stone was 1.5 cm. But the surgery was very successful and the stone was broken into sandlike pieces. Never even noticed those fine pieces and I didn't have any bruising.

DH had this done in June and on the 2nd trip to the bathroom, didn't even realize it but he peed out the shattered remains of the stone. Some minor twinges on the ride home and an achy feeling that evening but nothing that even required a regular strength Tylenol. Latest check showed all clear! Hope yours goes this well!
