We had 14" of snow on Friday...on Saturday it started melting and tonight I'd say there is still a good 4-6 inches, but you can see some ground cover in some areas...and the roads are flooded!...because the street drains still have snow and ice blocking them.

WOW planting tomatoes in February! AWESOME!!!

I was at a neighbor's house and saw a ton of robins - a sure sign of approaching spring!
    AND
    It's 5:45PM and it's still light outside!
Yes, BUT! They'll only last til about the middle of June, because after that it's too hot at night for them to set fruit. So it's a trade-off. We have two tomato seasons a year, spring and winter, but they are both short.

I am in central IN. Our temps are to maybe reach 50 by the end of the week. Today is was over freezing so our mountains of snow have started to shrink but it will take a while. I figure some of the icy packed 'mountains' will still be around a month from now. It is nice to actually be able to see the pavement on the roads...and I had a friend who went out jogging today and saw 2 robins! Sure does not take much to make us happy! LOL And,yes...as my DH keeps reminding me...we will probably still have some more snow and cold. But I am so ready for this winter to be over!

    NO!
It was in the low 30's, snow flurries, windy and cold. This morning on our way to Keepsake's it was 18 degrees. No snow melting here today; maybe by Friday. Will need more than one day, there is still over a foot of snow in my yard, and snow banks you can't see around, which is why DH backed into a car on Fri trying to get out of the driveway.

It was 67 in my corner of the country today. Last week we had 8" of snow and the week before 5"....Oh SunShine how I've missed you! Me & the fur babies went out and soaked up some warm. It felt wonderful!

change in temps. We broke lots of records for snow amounts and low temps.
I sure hope spring is on the way soon!
