I have 4 shih tzu's. One of mine..Lucy..who passed away in January used to have bladder infections. She tolerated the meds well and it cleared up. She was throwing up yellow bile also. My Patty looks just like your Felix. My thoughts are with you in the lose of your little sweetie. I know how painful it is to lose them.
    peace and blessings,

I feel your pain. Even after all these years, I still tear up thinking of holding my darlings when the vet gave them rest.

Remember the happy days with your fur child. These animals are sent to us to teach us about real, true love .

try D'Mannose - you can Google search it. I use it for me. My sister uses it. Her little dog was up all night wetting so she put a pinch in his bowl a couple times a day and the dog is healed - no drugs!

I'm sorry that your fur baby wasn't feeling too good and I sure hope he doesn't get it again. Shih Tzus do get problems like that. I had a cross shih tzu cockersp. and if I gave her something from the table it would affect her. I had to rush her to the vets different times even if I didn't feed her people food. They say dogs aren't suppose to sweat well I knew when she was going to be sick. There was this smell that started from the top of her head and then it would go all thru her , she would get real sick lay down and get up and alot of times she would be alright after a bit. Her bowels would give her a problem. Vets bills were something else but you don't care because they are your babies and part of the family. She lived to the age of 14. I miss her very much she was our best trucking buddy. I sure hope your little one is on the way of feeling better.

I'm so sorry about your Felix.
I've had to put down 3 furry "children" over the past 20 years.
I know how much you miss him.

We tried to save Felix last Friday night with surgery but they couldn't get some of his big bladder stones and had to put him down so the vet didn't even wake him up so he wouldn't have to suffer also found out his kidneys were shutting down, he is now in heaven, our groomer sent us the most beautiful card, Rainbow Bridge, my husband went and got him on Monday and buried him in our back yard with our other 3, he sure was a cute little dog

On Sunday, I called a lady and got another Shih Tzu and picked her up on Monday, she is adorable

Everyone, please meet my new dog, Sophie, yes she is already spoiled rotten, wears barretts, dresses and carries a pink purse

Hubby and I went out to get a sandwich and she rode with us in the car, she was so good
