Beleive me being a GP is great mine are now 18yrs, 15yrs lived across the street until recently had them all the time other GP only live a mile down the road so we shared in everything. I am blessed more than I can say wonderful Son-in-law always there for the girls. Married my daughter when the first GD was three months old and 2nd GD born on third wedding anv.

Up untill this spring our closest grandkids lived an hour away. I realize that isn't very far, but with both parents working it wasn't so easy to see them as often as we would have liked.
This spring they bought a house about 15 miles from us! Now we can see them a lot. Even if it's just for a short visit on the spur of the moment. They have spent a lot of time here, and one or both of us there. It has been wonderful to get so close to them.
My other grands always lived in another state so the quality time was minimal.
My hat is off to Grandparents who have to take over raising thier grandkids. It is truly a "labor" of love!! :D :D

Olivia's Grammy

Mom and Dad came to get Olivia at the crack of dawn (8am) this morning. I had just gotten out of the shower. We miss her terribly already. Mom called to ask me a question and I started crying. They live 75 miles from us. We'll probably go see them next Sunday.
