I guess you just have to do what you need to do to make yourself feel good about yourself.

I have colored my hair for the past 15 years. I am curious as to what my real hair color would be. I'm trying to gather the courage to go natural.

The first and last time I colored or bleached my hair was in the early 70's. I simply don't spend that much time with my hair, even when I was working if it took longer than 5 minutes to do hair and makeup, it didn't get done. LOL My hair is very coarse, some natural curl, and salt and pepper.

Mother started going gray at 29, she hated it soo much she colored constantly. Every few weeks more color, I didn't like it. To much upkeep, and then the roots would show and i would ask "whats the point?" How does that look "better"? Mom always said one day I would understand. One day I too would run for the color. I don't see it happening. I also got my first gray at 29 a few years ago. I couldn't care less. I find the gray one or two here or there. My dental assistant, she went gray in one spot, so she has this streak of white/gray on the top front of her hair. I love it, I think it is pretty. Would love it if nature was so kind to give me a streak! LOL, o well. Hubby, now he has a lot of gray!

Since my hair is naturally strawberry blonde, the gray has blended in very well. :D

Gave up on color years ago---allergies made it dangerous!
Now it is a sort of silvery blondie color.....

Yes, it's very liberating!!! I started greying at 19 and gave up coloring about 10 years ago and I'm 58 now. I think that the "beige" hair coloring everyone seems to be using is the new "blue"!
