    Now that is a great tip. I am most deff going to give this a try. I have a few hoops that really do look like they have been rode hard and put up wet.

    sewing machine oil works also. actually any oil product would work.

    i use cooking oil to remove any sticky residue. i used it the other day to remove band aid stickiness from my DGDs knee.
