My friends 30yr old son returned home having worked abroad for two years and went to the local supermarket with her. He had the trolley whilst she picked up goods, she had walked further up the aisle when he called to her and said "can I have some of these choc biscuits?" In a sharp voice she said "NO, JUST PUT THEM BACK"!!!! (Like she used to when he was a child!! He immediately lay down on the floor and threw a strop!!! (like he used to!!) He is a 6'4" Rugger player!! Was she embarrassed!!! Everyone else enjoyed it!!!!!

Ha! And to think I was just going to post that I finally got around to straightening up my quilting/sewing pig sty and could actually see where I "could" start a project. I ran across this topic. Ladies, you are all wonderful and have given me a big smile!!!

I have another one. My DH will walk up to me no matter where we are (restaurant, grocery store it doesn't matter)when we have entered the place at seperate times and walk up to me and say can I come home with you? So finally one day I said I don't know who you are but I am a married woman and you need to go away and leave me the h--l alone. Mind you I said it very loudly. My DH doesn't like to be embarrassed in public but he will do it to others so I got him.

In the 70's I used to work at a large (400 attorneys) lawfirm. There was a restaurant/bar/club on the 5th floor of our building that only allowed men to be members and/or patrons. I started asking the lawyers getting on the elevator on the 5th floor if they'd been to that "gay" bar for lunch. They'd get a stunned look and say "What?" I'd reply - "Well, they only let men in there, so I figured it was a gay bar." Interestingly enough, a couple of months later they started allowing women to be members and patrons.

Yes, I had two cousins that would sing with me. We sang everywhere. We were a harmonizing trio and were in many music shows. Whenever we went Christmas shopping we would go to a big city not too far away and as we strolled through the mall and shops we sang Christmas carols. People would smile at us and say thank-you. One of my cousins is gone now so this is one of my favorite memories.

Got tatoo's one one my leg and one on my arm at 62. The one on my leg is to celebrate snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef , it is a clown fish, a blue tang and a yellow forceps ( each one represents a granchild). On my wrist is the words Coast to Coast USA 1984.

a long, long time ago, back when I was cute & adorable, and YOUNG (Young, is the key word here, for aren't we All c & a when we're Y !!) I decided to go skinny dipping in some apartment building swimming pool. It was during a party with loads of people. I wanted to go swimming. so I did. It was the '70's... and it was San Francisco. :-)
