    It's nice to know that I'm not alone. And yes, it is scarey and unsafe.

    Been there done that.
    once I went thru a town going to fast and got pulled up by the police' when he said I had gone thru bindoon to fast I thought to myself did I go thru bindoon. I had my son in the back of the car in agony rushing him to a Dr 100 miles away so the policeman let me of with a caution.
    that was many years ago.
    I still happens now and then.

    That used to happen to me when I was younger. I had to drive through a lot of woods, and sometimes it was like I was just waking up and I didn't know where I was or where I was headed. That doesn't happen now. At least, not that I know of ;-)

    I do that all the time, call it going into auto pilot. Well my auto pilot failed this past fall. I ran a red light in a very busy intersection, horns blaring and tires screeching I came back to reality, pulled over my truck and sat and tried to remember how I got were I was. No one was hurt, and no car crashes thank goodness. I avoid that stretch of road now.

    Yes it happens to me, all of a sudden I realise where I am and don't remember how I got there, don't remember going through the small town.
    Or all of a sudden its like where am I? Did I pass this or this?
    scary
    can't blame it on yaking, I am alone in the car :shock:

    I tend to forget where i'm going next or miss a shop i meant to go to and am too close to home to turn around. but then, i'm old!!

    I have started making a list in order of accessibility before I leave the house, and checking it off as I go...unless I lose the list :roll:

    That is scarey! I've done it in the past. I think we all do it at times and I wonder how many accidents are caused by "unconsious" drivers! :?
