    I can't remember it being this cold for .this long ever before here in East Texas but then I usually can't remember this morning

    I can't complain about our snow, even though it's more than we've had in a few years. I remember when my son was a kid we made a game of guessing when the snow piles (mountains) would disappear from the parking lot of the local shopping center. He lives in Miami now and loves it, but his daughter thinks it's too hot and she could come and live with me!

    Yes, I do remember! I was in college in NE Ohio at the time. The whole state closed down if I remember correctly.
    I was here too! The National Guard had to come rescue people that were trapped in their cars. The kids still talk about it!
