Have you had any rain?

Yes, the cooler weather is so nice, but the newscaster last night said that we will not get any substantial rain before next spring. What a bummer. Hope he is wrong. Too many towns out of water already. Pray!

I live in Maryland and there has been flooding every where. In Harford County where I live and north of me at the Suseqhanna Dam where they had to open 50 flood gates and maybe more, there has been evaluation and flooding in Port Deposit and Havre de Grace. There is a "flood warning" on my televison screen right now. Aside from that the grass is so high, we will need billygoats soon.

I would happily give you some of ours. It's raining right now, and coming down in buckets!! East part of the state (PA) is under water - lots of evacuations, and my daughter in DC area took till 7:00 PM to get home - all the normal roads were flooded! I guess it's all or nothing!

Heard on the news last night that the US Weather Bureau declared Texas has had the hottest summer on record! Still no rain in sight; just fires. We appreciate all the prayers going up in our behalf and will include the areas flooding in ours!

No rain but I am right in the middle of painting the exterior of our house and really would like the rain to stay away for at least another week, please. Wish Texas would get a good drenching as you need it so much and I feel sorry for those who must suffer with the drought.
