I wish that someone would get it in their head to take rain water from the east coast and take to you and the rest of Texas

I just got through Hurricane Ilene and the second one. Wish I could send you some water. Much flooding and loss of electric for six days. Doesn't compare to what the south west is going through. Good luck everybody.
peace

we had a tiny bit of rain today. I think we are lined up for some thunder showers this week.

I wish I could magically transport our rain to you. We've had so much in the past week that everything is flooded. We had our first peek of sun this afternoon for the first time in over a week. It was so blindingly bright!

Nope, not since March. Katy is under a pall of smoke, because of the increasing fires in Grimes, Magnolia, and Waller Counties. I have never in my life seen anything like this... have lived through droughts and very hot temperatures, but nothing like this summer. The pictures I'm seeing just make me sick. All those abandoned/homeless animals - vets are trying their best to keep up with all the new 'visitors,' and good people are bringing food and supplies to help them, but it's an increasingly difficult situation.
