I had a friend named Shirley Grubb. Didn't know her maiden name till she passed away. Now I understand why she never told me what it was!

(R-rated, sorry) A friend named Harold Balls would NEVER use the nickname Harry, true story .My son's friend named his 2 daughters (born a year apart: Monica Marie and Marie Monica.
My daughter swore she would name her 1st daughter Velveeta. Luckily, she only has 2 sons so far.
I taught a boy who was called Tyke.

Went to scholl with a girl named Pandora. You got to know references where always made about Pandoras Box. Her father had a Karate Studio and she and her brothers were all active and belt holders. She was at that time my best friend and fortunately had a great sense of humor. Yes we were always in trouble!! The Dean made a mistake of making joke of her name, and his office was later found full of kotex pads!! and a note warning bad things happen who those who mess with Pandoras Box!!

Reminds me of the Christmas story when the dad opend the leg lamp said the same thing!!

Then there's "fruh-jill-ay". Mother named her after seeing that beautiful name on something in the delivery room. Spelled: Fragile.[/quote]
