Our temperature hit around 96 today and then our electric went out. Just a few in our neighborhood.
It was fairly nice inside but outside it was like an oven.
We have a lot of trees and bushes around our home thank goodness for them it helped keep us fairly cool.
I sewed on my hexagons waiting for the electric to come on.

Oh, my. I hope it you get it back soon.
We lost the AC at work today and had to leave - the temp inside was at 86 when we left and the temp overnight is only going down to 82 so who knows what it will be like tomorrow.

I know how you feel...A few weeks ago, we came home from garage-saleing, and our A/C wasn't putting out cool air. The temp had gone up to around 90 deg. inside in the few hrs. we were gone. The upside to this is that we only had to wait until the next morning to get some freon put in. But we didn't sleep much that 1st night!

I hope by now your electric is back on! We live in the country with lots of lawn and lots of trees. We are consistently about 5-6 degrees lower than the airport where they take the official temp reading.
