Unhappy Help for animals at rescue clinics

With so many hurt animals being looked after following those terrible bush fires here in Australia I’ve been trying to help by making mittens for burnt koala paws as well as wraps for bats. Here are a couple of pictures of a few I made. Thanks for looking 😀

Good on ya! It makes me sad to think of the little animals suffering.

I also never thought of this type of need, although it makes perfect sense! What great projects to do!

Oh my goodness, my heart just swells at the goodness of quilters and the ways we contribute to the world. So sorry that something like this is needed but so happy that you are doing your part and spreading the word.

I am so happy you are able to help.

I saw the Facebook video of a woman who took the shirt off her back to help rescue a burnt Koala. It just cried in pain. My heart just went out to it.

    Thank you!<3

They named him Lewis, he’s at the clinic, quite badly burnt, he’s an elderly “gentleman” with burnt paws, eyes, nose, private parts but they think he’ll make it, as his appetite is coming back!!! I’d share a picture from the video clip that was on FB but I’m not sure I’m allowed to

You are a very kind person to help these animals. My heart hurts when I see or hear above injured animals.
