Help for a broken toe
#12
I broke a foe while on holiday in the Cotswolds when someone dropped a 2 liter bottle pointy side down, from the top shelf in a shop.
I was backpacking and hiking -- I took lots of aspirin -- and kept going. No sense wasting a good 2 weeks vacation.
Actually the worst was climbing in the Malvern Hills. I slid down a hill on my backside, it hurt so.
BTW -- the quilt show at the fairgrounds was the first show I ever went to. Such creativity!!! lots of designs and ideas I hadn't thought of. And I had been quilting for 20 years.
Quilting wasn't as popular back then as it is now
Good luck -- and strap up your foot if you can -- ace bandage is good -- and keep your foot up!!

Go to the doctor, have it realigned and taped (pulled/jerked/snapped as bearisgray said).
When I broke mine it was at right angles to my foot. The doctor did his thing and my toe is OK today. It does not tell me about the weather so he must have done it correctly.

Kicked a couch with one little toe and a floor jack with the other...trust me when I say you can's move EITHER of those things with your little toe. Did the slap it back in place and tape it to your next two toes. I agree with Tink's mom...for some reason that makes it feel better.

After jamming my 2nd toe on metal coffee table leg (while on a cruise), it was broken and Dr kept x-raying it every 2 weeks. I asked why and he said if it didn't heal properly, it would require surgery!!! Now I had another toe on other foot that didn't get seen by Dr and is crooked. Better go see the Dr.
