If I plowed a row or 2 when he was plowing.)I rescued 2 yearlings from Safe Haven a shelter for abused horses. yearling gerldings kept them for 5 years but coulldn't keep them after I had the heart attack and my son died .

We usually do names by association.......think of how you got her, where you got her, why you got her, do you sew, what are your hobbies,

Sewfee, Patience, Forever, something very special.....she is beautiful!

I grew up with horses, and barrel racing......

In my opinion, you have to keep her for a little while and get to know her. She'll tell you her name all on her own. My most recent~ I started calling her by one name and within a few days- it changed to something else. Dixie or Dixie Chick finally stuck!

Just this morning my cat changed her name from Weasel to D#$@ cat...

So far we have "Tiny", Maggie, Sweet Pea, Luna, and Jeri. None of them have me swayed either way.
I know my fellow quilters are a creative bunch. So, what's her name? ;-)
Since she is a rescue horse, how about "Orphan Annie", and call her Annie.

I had to laugh. My DD bought a really big horse like that so they named her BOB. It stands for Big Old Bitch. Bad children but the name fits cause she can be a bit orny sometimes.
