Post Help with metal pie pan stuck in larger pan...

Can't get the pie pan out of this pan. The pie pan can go but want to salvage the larger pan.... Tried jabbing think knife blade but seem to drive it in farther. Thinking of getting some kind of cutter to cut open pie pan to release.
    Thanks in advance for suggestions!!!!!

Just a wild idea, but could you place ice in the pie pan and set the other pan in hot water.

Have you tried filling with water? Maybe you can get it to slip enough to pop it up.

I'd try hot water for the possible expansion, but what the heck, a couple inches of luke warm water might be enough for lubrication!

Not such a wild idea...I was going to suggest the same. It works with 5 gallon pails.

All with the same idea, heat it back up.

I agree with everyone by using hot water and ice. That is what I have tried with glasses sticking together and hope it works for you
