HELP! Need a quick Photoshop fix but don't know how....

I am making shirts to be worn at a 50th birthday party by printing a photo onto the photo fabric by June Tailor and ironing them on, then embellishing a little. I sneaked around and found a photo of the birthday girl but when I printed it, the contrast is all wrong. I am clueless on Photoshop but know that it is a quick fix, as I have watched the birthday girl do it many times... I just can't ask her!!!!!!
If I email you the photo will you fix it for me???? Will send you a "thank you" gladly of whatever you love from my stash of fabrics/books/magazines!!!!!
