help removing ink plastic/glue ?

Is it a clear plastic "shield" type label? If so, use your blowdryer to heat the glue...start in a corner and heat it and start to pull away....keep heating.......and pulling.....then for the glue---good ol WD40.

If it's printed directly on the plastic, try DOT 3 Brake Fluid. But do not get it on anything else! It's the best paint remover there is and will even remove permanent marker from plastic. I know this, because my oldest son once got hold of a permanent marker and drew all over a neighbor's brand new computer monitor. Both on the screen and the plastic housing. Took everything right off and saved me from replacing it.
