I don't know if it'll work on a stain that's been dried in, but I used Awesome (from Dollar General) to get red sharpie out of my off-white carpet. It worked like a charm!

Thanks, everyone. There was a link on this Board that had 2 names of stain products. One was to remove the stain and the other was to set color. Now, of course, I can't find the topic!!

I have been wanting to change out the slipcover but a new slipcover costs almost as much as a new couch. See, this is a Rowe slipcover couch where the couch itself is just all white muslim and the cushions are zippered and the actual cover is velcroed. Every site I've looked at the darn things are around $600.00. I may just put it back on the couch and hope the cushions cover the spots...just maybe...otherwise I'll "blame" it on the grandbabies. HeHeHE!!

It has to be the old fashioned cheap hairspray, the new stuff has different ingredients in it that won't work. The old Gillet spray deodorant for men would take out anything!

Yes definately try the hairspray---I have used it so many times!! Soak it really well in hairspray, then wash. It may take a couple of times.
