Sometimes I want to download patterns from links given on the board. This is how my plea started. Please forgive me. Now I realize that I cannot properly communicate about the computer. Forgive also that I was not specific.
Nobody needs to reply to this
P.S. This board is and its people are fantastic.

If you have Adobe you should be able to read them. When they save make sure you specify a file that is easy to remember so you can find them again. You can also do a search on your computer for all the *.pdf files stored and should be able to find the old ones if they saved.

1st Please use a few more descriptive words when creating a post topic. I hesitated to respond to such a vague topic title.
2nd Is it that you can't find the file you have downloaded & saved or that you cannot open it? If you try to open it, what response do you get?

You can get (US) free versions of adobe reader at
http//www.adobe.com/downloads
very easy to install on your computer
and once installed you get automatic updates I think mine is up to 9.4
Once installed follow Lisa_wanna_b_quilter's directions or
if the pdf have been saved on your computer look in Flder called MY Documents or Documents. Click on start and the popup should show the folder.
hope this helps
P.S. your pattern that you download is in pdf (portable document format)not the link or web address which usually looks like the following http://www.quiltingboard.com
