Default Here's Another Teddy Bear

Hi All, here is another teddy bear I just finished. This one is for the granddaughter of a friend of my aunt. I hope they like it. It can be a pain to work with real fur.

Thanks,
Shari

The nose is a plastic one that has a lock washer you push onto a serrated shaft on the back. The eyes are the same concept. Once you install the washer, you can't take it off again without ruining it. It is for safety so a child can't remove them and accidentally swallow them. I just used embroidery floss for the mouth.

Shari.

Beautiful! I'm so impressed that you make these out of real fur.

What a lovely bear! I just finished two of my first bears. Love the real fur. I can't imagine how difficult that was, I had trouble enough with plain fabric. Great job.

Thumbs up

Hello Shari

The grandchild will love your wonderful teddy bear; While working with real fur can be difficult; you seem to have managed it beautifully. It is amazing how many stitches you have; particularly those vintage ones. It is amazing to see how you use such conventional instruments in your creating.
