Since I got my pattern from DebbieUmphress in a swap, I have been DYING to make mine. I have been shopping in my stash for fabrics to make them-in fact, had some put aside for my de-stashing sale and have now pulled them out!! I got my fusible fleece and keep putting off starting! I think I am scared! I just have to make the start and I know I won't want to stop! Lets see yours when you make one!

Vanuata,

Don't be scared :) You'll be fine. Once you make the first one from then on it's a piece of cake!

Oh they are so much fun. Problem is everyone who see it wants one (or two). So far I've made 5 and have another to make this week. Getting really expensive making these things and giving them away. Can't ask family for $$. Last one I made is for a girl for her sweet 16th birthday. I'll give it to her on Saturday.

We are referring to a Bow Tuck bag (purse) that is very popular right now and lots of fun to make. Since I've made 5 I guess that makes me a "Bow Tucker" lol

Just do a search in the photo section for Bow Tucks and you'll see lots.

Yes, Kacaklebird, that is what everyone says. I figure I am of average intelligence, and can find my way around a sewing machine, own a pair of scissors and a rotary cutter, mat etc, and can read, so MAYBE i'll be ok- plus I have all the stuff now to make them, have the extreme desire to make them, so I really need to just START!!
