High Efficiency Washers
#101
I have a bosch frontloading washingmachine that is only 3.5 yrs old. Been having problems with it recently. It wont spin in the rinse cycle. Book says is due to either not large enough load or a larger item got tangled with smaller items. I have rechecked thsi over andover and put in different loads resulting with the same problem. Anyone else have this experience and if so , how did you correct it?

I've had a Maytag Bravos HE washer now for about 3 years and love it! (My old Maytag sprung a lead and up and died on me...she was well over 20 years old.) If I want to add clothes, I hit the pause button, wait for the click, and I can open the lid (yes, it's a top loader) and add extra. About the only thing I have trouble getting clean is DH's jeans when they are greasy/dusty from field work. That's usually remedied by spraying well with Shout. Oh, I also like the Tide Pods and the Tide stain lifter packets; can't say I've had a problem with too many suds.

I HATE my HE front loader. It was brand new when we moved to this house 8 years ago. I hate that you can't open it to add a forgotten item, I detest the mildewy smell, I don't like having to leave the door open on it to TRY to keep the mildew smell away (I'm not the only one in my house that uses the machine and not everyone is great about keeping the door open). If you wash your clothes and want to make a quick trip to the store or something while the washer is running, you better be back quick, because your clothes will start stinking pretty fast, too. Did I mention I don't like it? LOL I can't wait to get rid of it. Oh, I should mention it DOES clean well (it's a Maytag), but all the other little things drive me nuts.
