You will love , love , love it ! ! ! We have had them in Alabama for at least 20 years. We used to have to drive for a couple of hours to gt to one and then they opened one about 15-20 minutes away and then another about 45 minutes away. They are wonderful stores.

I love to watch for their sales in the accessories department. I got an excellent buy on Morgan Hoops at Hobby Lobby just by being patient and waiting for the sale to come on. Keep your eyes peeled and you will be surprised at the good stuff you can get from them really cheap

Watch the fabric pricing.....there are $5.99 bolts mixed in with $9.99 bolts. The good part is that all fabrics are 30% off every day! Their sales are good and like the others have said, they have many different crafts and home decorating things so you will go a little crazy.....I enjoy them. I just found the border fabric for a quilt (one of those times when the border gives you the colors of the quilt) there, after going to Hancocks and my LQS. Paid less than $17 for 3 yards and it is GORGEOUS! Multicolor sort-of-paisley with other shapes and 16 different colors in it to choose from when picking fabrics for the blocks...

I'll have to keep that in mind -- I see a road trip in my future next spring to Bend to check out the new store....its not that far from Salem.

Just kept reading the entries....one opening in Albany, too???!!! That's only 20 minutes away...my husband is going to hide my credit card, for sure! : )

I wonder what effect the store will have on Fabric Depot in Portland -- its quite spendy to go there. LOVE the store, but I can't afford to spend that kind of money there.
