Originally was going because son,Joey was still in Afghanistan, and his wife, Anne was being sent to florida for training for a new job in the Air force..Then Joey came home ahead of schedule and Annes training was rescheduled, so i got to go down to just visit the grandsons and help them in the yard.
it was in the 90's while i was there, and got lucky, only 2 days of humidity! boy the sun is brutal in Texas!
Pictures from my trip..if ya want to take a peek.

i only did one little sewing job..made new wicker basket inside covers to match the colors in thier living room.
i had my knee issue with the bakers cyst..they just aspirated the last one a month before i left..and another one grew back a few days before i left. this is the 3rd one in as many months! got a doc appt. on the 12th. this time i hope they will go in and correct what is causing them..instead of just aspirating them.
anyways, glad to be home..but it is 50 and rainy here in the detroit area. i heard there is snow up north here..yikes!

The only sewing i did! the kids keep thier toys in them.

So glad you got a chance to just be with your family. Thank God for your son's safe return! I am very lucky, 4 of 5 DGS's live very close, so I see them a lot. Rest up and let us know what the doc says.
