Sorry this happened to you! Made me stop to think about what is important in my house...some jewelry, but not much...Pictures for sure!!...The rest is just stuff! Take it...it will save me from having to make decisions about it! LOL!
I don't mean to make light of what happened. It's downright scary!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your break-in. I'm sure you feel violated and it has to be frightening. My daughter had someone try to break into her apartment in the middle of the night, said he thought it was his apartment - even though he was coming in through the window and had taken off his T-shirt to lay on the window. She was numb, then he tried to break in again and the police did nothing. He wasn't even a tenant in her apartment complex, but they did move her to another building, but didn't kick the guy out. Ever since, when she has moved, she chooses 3rd floor apartments. Thankfully right now she has a roommate, so I feel a little better, even though she's 33, you always worry about them. You are in my prayers.

Start visiting all the pawn shops in your area. If and when you find any of your stolen items - don't tip off the shop owner - call the police and meet them at the shop to get your stolen items back. Pawn shops must take ID on all items pawned, you may get lucky and catch the animal that robbed you, sure hope you do.
