I haven't found any gloves that will keep hand warms in extreme cold, will keep hands dry and from freezing but not warm. DH uses the instant hand warmers in his gloves. They are cheap and each one lasts a long time. He is outside in extreme cold a lot. I put them in my coat pockets. They are in every vehicle and outside building we have. We buy them by the case at Walmart.

I would go to youtube and look for how to make a pair of gloves, and make a pair out of high quality polar fleece. They make one call "PolarTec" that is supposed to be just what you need. Put "Thinsulate" inside as lining as you make them, and treat both layers as one layer, by sewing each piece to it's lining piece before actual construction. I know there is a video there about making gloves by tracing your own hand...I just can't look for it right now, or I would post a link.
