Home made extra, extra large work gloves
In all the experience on the board does anyone know or make work gloves that are large, large and very warm. I cannot find any gloves that fit my husband and if on the chance I do find some they are not warm enough. Somewhere out there must be some one that had a design, material, etc. mittens don't work because on a farm you have to use you hands and fingers. It was30 blow last night. I was considering insulbrite for lining but it may be too bulky. Help!!!!!

You could look for gloves for hydro/electric workers? You might find something for people who work with frozen food/fish? Guess what popped up on the bottom if this page? Cryogenic-Gloves from www.cedarlanesshippingsupplies.ca

for my chores i use mittens with the fingers in them then put jersey gloves inside
and then i can use the mitten or the just the fingers. they are really warm
i bought mine at cabalas store. no wind gets through either.

I don't know if you have tried any of these. The are pricey, at least to me, but if they fit & are warm, they would be worth it. Have you though about drawing his hand out on a piece of paper for a pattern & making him a inner-liner of jersey or cotton knit?

Thinsulate is what they put in winter clothes, etc. Could you make him some? I have no idea how difficult that would be.
We just purchased a 'glove' you wear inside of a regular glove that looks like it has sparkles in the material, but they are suppose to keep your hands extra warm. . . just found the name..... "starcrest of California" they list a Perris, CA address.
Other than that, the only other thing I can think of is those 'hand warmers' you either put into your pockets or inside the gloves
Good luck on your search. I know it's hard. My younger son is 6'6" and has huge hands.
ps: if you want some thinsulate, I'm sure I have some I can share. PM me if you try to make him some.
