    My daughter had an allergy to gatorade when she was young. But pediatrician had said gatorade could be used instead of pedialyte. The pedialyte that had been purchased for me here tasted like a sweet kool-aid. I know when you make with the salt , but mainly baking soda is the taste that will stand out if you don't make with the 1 cup sugar called for the kool-aid diections. I did not taste the soda with the full 1 cup sugar added.

    Thanks for the post. I just got two boxes of the Pedialite popcicles just in case.....flu season is just around the corner. I will keep that in my recipe box for future use.
