Not my favorite "holiday".
Was in early labor with my first...we lived in a new development where kids were bussed in, literally.
DH didn't get home until 10PM so disappointed ...."Where's all the kids?" There almost was another ghoul to decorate the front yard after that crack!
I ended up with the dog on a leash sitting on the bottom step of the split level entry.
Turns out that my son was laying transverse and fortunately was successfully delivered with forceps which my doctor was well experienced with.
It was a very, very long labor before the x-ray was taken. OOPS!

No it is not something we wish to indoctrinate our children with. The druids on halloween night went from house to house demanding someone from the house for a human sacrifice. If the people of the house complied and gave them a household member(human) then the druids left a goolish jackolantern on their step to signify they had been there and no one else would bother them. Thats as they drug away their screaming victim. If the family refused they set fire to the house. Seems like something not to be celebrated.
