Tonight will be grilled burgers, fresh corn with thyme and butter, sliced tomatoes with basil, basalmic and EVOO, and cucumbers and onions in basil garlic vinegar.

Due to health problems and the heat, the crockpot has become my very dear friend!

I can hardly stand the thought of eating. Fortunately, the tomatoes are coming in and I'm stocked up on lettuce.

We do a large salad with any raw veggie in it and some turkey or chicken lunch meat.

Too hot...grill, slow pot, fresh fruit salads, green salads, or pick up a cooked slow roasted chicken, turkey or ribs from the grocery store add fresh steamed veggies or a salad and dinner is done in a flash! Keep cool and hydrated everyone!

Plug in a rice cooker outside and put two small chickens in a covered skillet outside for two hours at 350. Serve with cooled salad and or fruit.
