In our school only the office is air-conditioned.

We must be cooling off. The thermometer didn't hit 100 until 1:00 today. Our humidity is up to 50%. No chance of rain today.

Our classrooms have A/C down here. I think some of the new school designs rely on it. There are very few windows that even open now. I've taught on days where the A/C went out and WOW can kids stink. It was like walking into the smelly locker room.

Most of the schools in our area have had AC for about the last 5 or 10 years I think. My classroom has AC, but it's in my home. I homeschool 2 teenage grandkids and I love it! It is an online public school... K-12, OHVA. (sorry, just had to throw in a plug for a great school.)

Back on topic.... how many days till Fall and cooler temps?

Looks like it's supposed to cool off into the upper 70's later this week though.
Well, typical Minnesota weather - it is 4:40 AM. #1 hound woke us up when he heard the thunder and saw the lightning! So perhaps it will cool down a bit today - Yes, it was miserable yesterday, but here we have to appreciate this hot humid weather because in two or three months we will be up to our you know whats in snow drifts. I remember one year - it was January and a Shinook came through and it went up to +70* in a few hours and we were out in our shirt sleeves and a few hours later it was colder than all git out! Typical Minnesota. I love it! Edie
