    You cannot afford not to have anti-virus protection. You might have it. Since you have a Mac, I don't even know how to tell you how to check.

    Could you maybe post on craigslist asking if someone who knows Macs would help you? http://cnj.craigslist.org/
    Or find out if there's a Mac users group in your area.

    The reason it's so important is that a virus can totally wipe out all your files and destroy your computer. I'm not saying this will happen because of the email thing. But it puts you at risk. And if you don't have an anti-virus program, there are free ones you can download.

    You can download avast antivirus for home use free.
    it is a good virus program.
    Somone was posting some bad sites on this forum for a while. Be careful.

    I had this exact same thing happen to me a few months back but I never filled out any "hotmail questionaire". I emailed hotmail security using another account and got back my original hotmail address. It took a few days but all is well now. If you do restore your old account, try setting a harder password to make it more difficult to steal. Good luck, it was a pain.

    I received 27 strange e-mails yesterday. I deleted them immediately and put them all in the junk mail folde.
    That will keep them out of my e-mail.
