Now that made me laugh out loud!! I am of course checking FB and QB right now but should be doing some housework. Oh how I hate the constant dusting, mopping and laundry!! I do love a clean house though and my German mother has instilled that cleaning hang-up in me from an early age. "You never know when a neighbor might drop by". Needless to say you can eat of her floor...anywhere in the house and even though she is many miles away I keep hearing her voice "encouraging" me to do my chores So I better get back to work....

If the "House Police" show up , show them a rag and to have at it, or show them the door. And not to make a butt print on the way out.

LOVE it .. Last person who came over and said I needed to dust, I handed them the swiffer. Told them the older I get the less the house needs cleaning. YES I make sure my dishes are done and things are picked up-the rest can wait ! LOL

I like this! It's why I stay here.
Housework is an eternal UFO .... never to be completed. When I join the angels, will people remember me for my good deeds or for my clean house. Living alone helps with that decision .... if it's clean enough for me or my dog, it's good!

I cannot sew late afternoons or evenings, so my routine is...get chores done, sew, do dinner, loaf on the computer!

I didn't know i was suppose to clean, hubby ask about that and i said if there is something that needs to be done, well do it!!! i cleaned one day last week because hubby said his brother was coming in and needed a place to stay, i told him he should have talked to me first, wound up his brother did not stay with us so i cleaned for nothing, and i told my hubby i hope you like eating out.
