When stuffing a chicken I mix the stuffing in a plastic bag and then insert the open end of the bag into the chicken cavity and squeeze the stuffing into the chicken. Toss the bag, no mess no washing a pot. I use a bread bag.

OMG...Chasing Hawk...that is so funny!! I thought I was the only one who did such "mean" things!! My step-son nailed a fish he caught to a board and put it under his bed. When we found out, it got bagged and shot out the window, with all the other treasures, clothes etc. He stood in anger and said..."isn't that a little immature" HA>>HA. They are lucky they are alive

My best trick, when someone calls and says that they're on their way over is to put everything that's out of place (laying around on every horizontal surface) into either a paper food shop bag or a plastic laundry basket and hide it in a closet. Then, someday, real soon, I go through the bags and put stuff away. Can't figure out why the house has to be in such chaos all of the time. One time I stuffed the mail in the trunk of my car and forgot about it. That was over 30 years ago and I'm still being reminded of it.........

Okay, here is my housework tip (not that I would recommend it for everyone)! First you get fibromyalgia, arthritis, and bursitis. I have found that as I am no longer physically able to do all the housework, I have given myself permission to ask my DH and DS to help. Who knew they would be okay with helping! Geez why didn't I think of that when I was healthy LOL!

I love all the responses. I'm not that god at housework but my sister cleans one room per day until all room are clean then starts the cycle all over again. He house is always clean and she has plenty of time to sit and relax. I just cann't seem to get it done that way myself. Maybe it's because myhouse is too big for me to clean by myself. I have three boys one still lining at home and a hubby who does not do housework.

My DBF (fiance) is terrible about picking up after himself so i just leave his stuff laying where he left it. When he realizes I am not going to pick up the 3 pairs of socks off the living room floor he politely throws them in front of the washing machine. haha. no joke. mind you there is a basket sitting 2 feet away from the washer at all times. ugh. more tips please kep them coming.
~ When cleaning the bathroom don't forget to wipe down the back of the door or around the top of the shower.
~Spray windex on your sink and fixtures and wipe with a soft cloth makes everything look cleaner and shiney - i always get the "wow, it really looks clean in here" comment when I do.

De-clutter your house 15 minutes at a time. Grab three boxes and label one "Throw away" another "Keep" and the other "Donate". As soon as the "Throw away" box is full, throw it away. As soon as the "Donate" box is full, tape it up and throw it in the back of your car and drop it off on your next trip. Take the items in the "Keep" box and put them in a new home right away. My house looks twice it's size after I started de-cluttering and using the Flylady's suggestions (Finally Loving Yourself) for two weeks and I cannot tell you how much it has helped me. BTW: When I quilt I do NOT set my timer for 15 Mins.
