You know we all have housework to do. It is hard trying to keep up with the housework and find time for quilting, sewing and our other crafts.

I thought we should start a thread to post our tips and tricks for housework.

Focus on one area at a time. Don’t roam from room to room dusting baseboards. Concentrate on an entire room’s grunge before going to the next.

I try to clean as I go and do some cleaning every day in each room. By Friday the house is clean for the weekend!

Sounds like a great idea to me!!! I'm not doing any housework until I am finished with all the flannel rag quilts I am making for Project Linus. I do the snipping in my family room and the wood floor looks like carpet (well, almost) from all the fuzz. I have 4 more to snip and a couple to make from all the scraps from the last few years, then it will be clean, clean, clean.

Tie rags to the dog's feet and tail. Voila dusting done.

    Flylady..and her 15 minutes at a time.

Timers...do 15 minutes at a time, then QUIT and go on to another room. You can come back to this room later, for 15 minutes.
