    I love animals but I find zoos terribly depressing. Big beautiful giraffes stuck in that little yard and they have to share it with zebras and emus. Bare earth and dead trees. And fences.

    I enjoyed watching this even if it is meant for kids.

    The zebras and ostriches are in the enclosure because that is a much more natural setting for all the animals as they are found together on the plains. Many zoos, including the Houston zoo, are doing this more and more and finding it very beneficial for all the animals!
