    You girls are impressive. I was smarter than a 5th grader last yr and now he is in 6th and it is getting harder. I can't even tell if some of his homework is correct.

    3 1/7 ends in a repeating decimal.

    3.142857142857........

    from what I've read, "pi" does not have repeating numbers in the decimal portion

    I don't know HOW it was figured, but I'm pretty sure it was figured by someone with WAY too much time on their hands...Obviously NOT a quilter :)
