My husband was the newly hired engineer. I was the department secretary.

I have NEVER been hit on by a stranger anywhere. My husband says it's because I put out a vibe that is too independent for most men's tastes. I think it would be a great ego boost to get an offer from a stranger at a store but the only offers that come my way are things like, "Hey lady! Can you help me load this new fridge?"

I've been divorced for years. Would love to have someone in my life but I've finally accepted it's not the right time. "HE" will provide me someone but it's hard to wait at times. I get tired of being alone, but I'm awful picky.....Have met a lot of loosers at the grocery, a bar and even a parking lot....My criteria is'nt much.....Breathing, Single, Employeed, Honest, Faithful LOL...Hug all your honeys for us "single" gals. I miss sharing my life with someone.

We met many years ago when I was a car hop in a drive in right across the road from his family business. I'd noticed this dark and handsome guy but when a few of his workers told me how nice he was, I dumped a cup of coffee on him to catch his attention.
We were married 39 1/2 years when he died 4 years ago, still miss him. He'd be a hard act to follow. Still single and not looking. If He decides there is someone who needs me He'll arrange a meeting.

Oh heck yes, almost every time I go out. they see I dont wear a ring and bam they make their move. I try not to make eye contact anymore. But it never fails, its really bad at Lowes and "manly" stores. Warning never go in a firearms store without a man...you become the prey. And the firearm of choice is not one you buy. I met my honey at work during a I hate men phase in my life. He hated woman too...gee a heck of a thing to have in commmon, but it works!

We met when I went back to graduate school and was looking for an apartment. I answered a roommate wanted ad in the newspaper and we were married 3 months later. That was 28 years ago.

I met my DH thru Match.com. I had been widowed 14 years and he had been widowed 3 months (married to her for 28 years) and as the pastor in our new church the other day said......"you still have that sparkle in your eye".

DH and I met at a local aerobatic contest. It was DH's first time as a contestant and I was in the middle of getting my private pilot's certificate at the time. My CFI happened to be my boss, and one of his former flying students introduced DH and I because we all worked for the same company. It worked out well because, even though DH and I worked for different divisions, we ended up with offices just around the corner from one another :-)

I've known my DH my entire life, but didn't start dating until I was 18. Our dad's were neighbors and best friends all through their lives - also, my sister is married to his brother.

Met my hubby when I went for a job interview at a local hospital, he was a chef there, I asked him if he could please direct me to the Nursing Officers office, he very kindly took me there, later I found out, he went back to the kitchen and told his co workers, he had just met the girl he was going to marry, I got the job and he got the girl, we got married six months later, have two sons and still together after 45 years.

I never get hit on in the grocery store, but then my husband is just about always with me when I'm there!

My husband and I met in high school. He sat behind me in Japanese class our sophomore year, and had a crush on me. He finally summoned up the courage to ask me out our Junior year :) We've been together almost twenty years now, and I couldn't be happier...
