He was the older brother of my sister's friend. We were teenager and have been together since. We celebrated 25 years of marriage this past May. And that means we have been married for more than half of our lives. LOL!!

He was a high school band director and after his friend hired me as a color guard instructor, he hired me himself.

That was in 1993. The high school kids voted us "best band couple" that year. :)

MY youngest daughter and her husband (of almost one year) Met thru eharmony-they were gaga over each other the first time they met and wanted to get married right away! We talked them into waiting a year-so they did wait, they did get married, and they are still gaga over each other! So much fun to watch!

A girl friend and I were tanning on a lake in Florida...another friend (a guy) came by in his boat water skiing. Girl friend and I joined the skiers and met hubby to be, who was the other skier.

Later, my mom came home from work and said she had had a discussion with a lady she worked with about "this nice young man who came round to take my daughter out"...turns out this lady was the "nice young mans" mother. My mom and his worked at the same bank!

I managed a Lucky Lil's casino in Three Forks, Montana...it was part of a truck stop. Slow night, the only other person besides me (I was working for one of my runners that was sick) was my friend Becky. Trucker walked thru, and I told Becky, "See that one? He wants me, he just doesn't know it yet!"

He found out... ~grin~ We've been an "item" ever since!

We'd actually worked together for 20 years! At the point that we both found ourselves available.......we started hanging out - I guess we're just slow!

We met at work and I thought, boy he's cute. After visiting my long time boyfriend of 5 years in Germany. I knew when I left there, it was the end. So I said to myself...well, he's (husband) here and the other ones not. Best decision I ever made. We dated for 5 years and have been married 33 years yesterday.
