My next door neighbor brought him to my front door and ask me if I wanted to go on a date. 28 years later, we are still together.

Future-DH was "the boy next door", since he lived right across the street from my parents' business. He was very, very shy, and we didn't talk much. Although we passed each other in the halls at the junior high school, we didn't have any classes together since he was a year ahead of me. (Our junior high didn't have mixed-grade classes.)

When we reached high school, we had a couple of classes together. I didn't know it at the time, but he and one of his friends had a bet going to see which one of them could get me as his girlfriend. LOL! Future-DH didn't want to lose that bet, so he pushed his shyness aside and told me he liked me. I was just 13 years old and (of course) wasn't allowed to date that young, but we went to school/church activities until we were older. Even at 13 years old I knew that he was "the one".

We got married after I graduated from college. That was 23+ years ago, and we're still just as crazy about each other now as we were then. I couldn't have asked for a better husband. :)

Oh, and he's not shy anymore. He's the type that's never met a stranger. :-D

I was shopping at Wally World late one night. It was slow and several girls at the registers were talking about "Marcus in sporting goods". As I was available, I thought i'd check out what all the fuss was about.... They didn't even have a chance once I set my eyes on him! We've been together over 14 years now. I've always teased him...if he didn't tow the line, Wal-Mart has a liberal return policy!!!!

Met my husband online. He was military and overseas, Italy and I was in Georgia. We talked for about a year online, then finally met when he had a conference in Washington state. SO I flew out there to meet him for the first time. We now have been married nine years and have a wonderful four year old son. :)

A girlfriend & I had been to a movie & were waiting on the bus.She saw this pretty red convertible & said, "Hey,I know them".The driver pulled over & asked if we needed a ride.Turned out, I knew his buddy with him.

The GF & I just lived down the street from each other, so we got out at my house & she went on home.5 mins later I was telling my parents about the movie, when the driver knocked on the door.He asked me for a date,I said yes & we were married just over 2mos later. That was 56yrs,2 DDs & 3 Grkids ago.
