Two times now I have been blessed (and that is not a term I use often) with someone on the board going out of their way (not to mention into their pocket) to send me packages. As a new quilter, I don't have much of a stash to pull from, but what would make you happy as a Thank you for a gift you sent for no reason other than to make someone else happy?

Maybe just a card in the mail.

A simple "thank you" and then just pass the blessing along (no matter what it is) to someone else who could use it!

I have been blessed also by other members. I think the gift of giving is just that.. its a gift and it gives joy to the giver also. I pay it forward with what I can when I can. I do think a thank you directly to those who are so generous is one of the best gifts we can give. I have personally sent several packages out and had about a 50 percent reply of thanks. It would be nice to just know they arrived and were appreciated. No gifts or cards needed. Email is free!

If you know who sent it just a Thank You is nice. On this board there are many "Angels" who like to help out. And if you ever get the chance, be an Angel yourself

I agree, a simple thank you card, and pass on the good deed. Some day there will be something you can do to help someone, remember the kindness shown to you.

I think letting her know how much you appreciate her is the perfect thank you. :P :P :P
