While we would be waiting our turn at the dentist, they'd give us a small blob of mercury in our hands to play with. When we gave it back to go in no one even mentioned washing hands.

Personally I would mail them to the members of congress who forced this on us. And they're all made in China!

Time to stockpile regular bulbs before they're all gone.

What's really the big attraction to these bulbs? They are ugly, they contain mercury and you can't see with the light produced. Don't we already have enough stuff to recycle? Makes no sense to me!

Not to mention that CLF's really aren't healthy even when not factoring in the mercury. The EMF's that they put out are through the roof! Feeling anxious, nervous, depressed, could be your light bulbs! Maybe that's the end result the government is looking for...have us all doped up and drugged out of minds because of our lite bulbs so we won't care that the country is going down the tubes!!

I find it interesting that a request on how to dispose of a CFL lightbulb has become (yet another) rant on modern life.

I remember also how we let it roll in a ball in our hands.
I also hate those new bulbs, they ar not bright enough for me. Whose idea was this anyway? - J.

Our local Mynards will take them and dispose of them for you.
